The Backsaver™ is a hydraulically operated device used to lift and lower slips in the insert bowl while running landing string, drilling, or tripping pipe, eliminating the need for manual effort the Backsaver™ can be operated safely by the driller. The Backsaver™ is most commonly used with 20-inch XO-1000 slips and 6 5/8-inch tubulars. It is a part of the FASTR® System.
