Drill Pipe

Because drill pipe is the primary component of any drill string, it’s critical that it optimally transmits torque and power from the rotary table to the bit. We offer 2-3/8” to 7-5/8” in various wall thicknesses and grades (105 ksi to 165 ksi).

Landing Strings

When regular drill pipe lacks sufficient tensile strength, we meet the challenge with the industry’s largest landing-string inventory. Manufactured from high-grade steel, our heavy-wall drill pipe (0.500” to greater than 1") is commonly used to land, heavy subsea casing strings.

Heavy Weight Drill Pipe (HWDP)

Used as a transition between stiff drill collars and limber drill pipe, our HWDP helps reduce pipe fatigue with 2-3 times the wall thickness. We offer a full inventory with connections to match your drill pipe connections from 3-1/2” to 6-5/8” in conventional, spiral, and tri-spiral designs.

Drill Collars

Featuring pin and box connection threads machined directly into the body wall, our Drill Collars are available in 2-1/2” to 9-1/2” sizes. To reduce the tendency to differentially stick as they apply weight to the bit, spiral grooves may be cut into the collar.

Completion and Intervention Tubulars

Designed for subsea tubing landing strings, flowback/test strings, and intervention strings, these tubulars are proven in open water applications with a gas-tight metal-to-metal seal for well integrity. Featuring a rotary-shouldered connection, they enable fast make-up, compatibility with conventional drill pipe handling equipment, and durability for multiple make-and-break cycles.

WorkTech™ Joints lined up on a rack

WorkTech™ Joints

WorkTech™ Joints were developed as a slick joint across the annular BOP for frack tool movement. The WorkTech™ connection was designed with a metal-to-metal seal connection that can withstand the pressures of the fracking operation and be compatible with the completion string.

Real Results, Real Feedback

“I’ve worked with Workstrings over the past year on several completion planning projects, and they’ve consistently exceeded my expectations. From small orders of crossovers or a large string of pipe with all the necessary tools, they’ve either had the items in stock or were quick to build. Even when I’ve reached out after hours, they have been knowledgeable and responsive. Our account rep offers valuable insights and guidance on products for our operational needs.”
